THINGS TO DO IN JAPAN #7-Visit Tokyo!

Image
TOKYO! Kinda late post, so sorry for that. So, here is my short trip to Tokyo in last January. You will realize how cheap Tokyo is. Well, as I wrote to my previous post that now I'm currently living in Tsuruoka, Yamagata prefecture (Northern Japan). If you look at the map Tsuruoka and Tokyo is pretty much far. In fact, I spend more than 10 hours for Tokyo and as I'm student who love cheap travel so that I use Ju-Hachi-Kippu. Ju-Hachi-Kippu (18 ticket) is cheap ticket produced by JR line which made for high school student in Japan to provide their cheap travel to any places in Japan. It was long time ago and now people in general love this ticket, cause it's cheap. As always, price is quality. Get ready to be tired using this facility cause you will need to get down in every station and change train. You can imagine how tired it is when you have to travel from Northern to Southern Japan, like I did. But it's me, with my backpacker soul :D I visited some spo...

THINGS TO DO IN JAPAN #6-Graduation Ceremony (Ideas what to give)

Image
Hadiah Wisuda Untuk Kawan di Jepang Graduation is the most incredible moment for all students and that's one of the best day in their life, indeed. As friend, we supposed to grand them by giving present or anything in order to appreciate their hard work till that day comes. Flowers probably is the most famous and general thing to be given, but if you are creative and wanna give them something by your own, it's gonna be so much worth. I made this thing for my Japanese friends in their graduation and I think, it's pretty cool. These thing just came out 5 days before graduation ceremony and I spend my two nights for that. Hope they'll like. Flowers in vase  Vine plant in chair I made them very simple and things you need only flannel, glue and something to be a chair and stalk. Hope it can inspire you guys :)

Shonai Visitors Association (SVA) Just realize how beautiful scenery, culture and nice people are Japanese. They are incredibly attract myself to  be more and more willing learning about Japanese language. Honestly, it feels bad when everybody around you, foreigners especially, talking in Japanese while you still need an interpreter. But yeah it needs process!  Anyway, last week was the most amazing week ever, Saturday went to Zao for Ski and again on Sunday spend the rest of energy for trekking with Shonai Visitors Association. I just don't mind at all. The SVA brought me into a very nice place and meet some nice people with so cute kids playing games and interact with them, and of course, food! MWAHH..and it's free! It was so much better than spend Sunday on bed. Bed is an old story already. Trekking! My favorite. Trekking is always fun somehow. I always love to have a trekking-moment with snow. Get close with snow is just nice, Indonesia is pretty rare of snow, ev...

Let's check out some of their photos: #1. Groom masuk #2. Selamat selamat !!! :) Inilah saya bersama Romo pemimpin gereja. Good job Romo Sri Waluyo:)
